Position Summary

As part of our crew, you'll help keep the park running smoothly, welcome guests with energy, and create safe, unforgettable experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting & Check-In: Welcome all guests with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Ticketing, Waivers & Sales: Ensure waivers are completed before entry. Sell park passes, memberships, and other products at the register. Accurately process payments and issue wristbands and City Socks.
• Cash Handling & POS Transactions: Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Guest Assistance & Communication: Answer guest questions, provide basic directions throughout the park, and explain park rules and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrations & Instructions: Give clear demonstrations on how to slide and provide simple instructions to ensure guests have a safe and fun experience.
• Upselling & Guest Experience: Promote memberships, special offers, and park events to enhance guest value and maximize revenue while ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Prior experience in a guest-facing role (entertainment, hospitality, retail, or recreation) preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to enforce rules while staying friendly and professional.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to stay alert in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling basic transactions and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
• Bilingual skills are a plus and valued in serving our diverse guest community.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and remain active on your feet for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift).
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, and stretch while supervising attractions and assisting guests.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including moving rapidly across attractions.
• Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment with flashing lights and high guest activity.

• Event Confirmation & Check-In: Confirm party/event details with hosts, ensure waivers are completed, process payments, and provide wristbands and City Socks for all guests.
• Guest Greeting & Communication: Welcome party guests with energy, explain the event flow, and serve as the main point of contact throughout the celebration.
• Event Coordination & Flow: Lead birthday groups to their reserved tables, guide them through attractions, and keep the event on schedule while ensuring a fun, safe experience.
• Food & Supplies Oversight: Help coordinate food service, ensure tables are stocked with necessary supplies, and oversee delivery/setup of food and beverages.
• Attraction Guidance & Safety: Demonstrate how to slide properly, provide basic rules/directions, and help guests navigate attractions safely during the event.
• Setup, Cleanup & Guest Satisfaction: Prepare event spaces before arrival, maintain cleanliness during the party, and handle teardown/cleanup after. Ensure the host family feels supported and their expectations are exceeded.
